The C50M Camera Module

  • 50MP Photos
  • 8K 30 FPS Video
  • Huge 1/1.12" sensor with 1.4μm pixels
  • Wide-angle (90°), Auto-focus F1.8 lens

Experience the world from new heights and see the unseen in the minute details with our state-of-the-art C50M camera module equipped with the Samsung ISOCELL GN2 image sensor (also powering the Google Pixel 8 Pro). This sensor is designed to deliver superior performance that is ideal for applications in drones, machine vision, industrial automation, and more.

The C50M's 8K video recording capability takes aerial and machine vision to the next level. For drone enthusiasts, you can now capture everyday moments from the sky in incredible detail. For machine vision applications, this high resolution allows for more detailed data collection and image analysis, enhancing the ability to identify objects or detect defects.

The ISOCELL GN2 sensor in the C50M camera module can take stunning 50MP photos, enabling drones to capture the world below in extraordinary detail. The high resolution also improves the accuracy of machine vision systems by allowing for more precise feature detection and identification.

Don't let the darkness limit your vision. The large 1.4μm pixels of the ISOCELL GN2 sensor provide impressive low-light performance, ensuring clear, bright images even in challenging lighting conditions, whether for drones flying in low-light environments or machine vision systems operating in dimly lit factories.

Experience lightning-fast autofocus with the ISOCELL GN2 sensor. Its Dual Pixel Pro technology allows quick focus on any object, making it ideal for drones tracking fast-moving objects and machine vision applications where quick response times are critical.

Our C50M camera module with the ISOCELL GN2 sensor also features high dynamic range (HDR) capabilities. This means your drone can capture vibrant photos even in mixed lighting conditions, and your machine vision systems can maintain clarity in contrasting light settings.

Harness the power of the Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor with our C50M camera module to unlock new possibilities in your drone and machine vision applications.

The Project

These modules are the result of a lot of hard work to make the best camera technology on the market available for drones, mobile robots and any other project you might think of.

Our campaign budget here is the smallest viable production run we can do. Your support will help us gain the traction we need to get these great camera modules in your hands.

Right now we have 8 prototype cameras (the ones in the photos). The camera modules themselves have already been tested by our production partner, the green carrier PCBs are in testing now. The prototypes are also used for driver development and debugging, which is a work-in-progress. We expect most features working by the time we ship out the first batch of production modules.

The production camera modules will be nearly identical to the shown prototypes. The main change is the 'frame sync' function. The prototypes can only output this signal, the production modules will be able to use this as input as well, allowing hardware frame synchronization between multiple modules.

Platform Support

Drivers are in development for Nvidia Jetson boards, Raspberry Pi boards and our upcoming Machine Learning focused Rockchip RK3588 platform. Updates and links to drivers will be posted here when ready.
