CableBots

A technology originally developed for the Scrobby Solar, the concept of changing a cable length to make a robot move has many applications. The CableBot platform has been used for building window-washing and painting, even in skyscrapers. It has also been successfully applied as four-cable setup to do crowd fly-overs, carrying camera equipment over football-field size areas.
